Exiled to Egypt, to avoid the slaughter of the innocents in Bethlehem by Herod’s troops ~ Matthew 1:18 ASV

Betrayed first by Judas then by the disciples who ran and finally by the crowd who yelled “Hosanna” on Palm Sunday and who chose Barabbas instead of Him ~ Matthew 26:48

Deemed insane/demon possessed, by His family ~ Mark 3:21

Deserted by His followers, Peter followed at a distance and then denied their association ~ Mark 14:50

Misunderstood even by the disciples, especially Judas, who thought that He was bringing in a physical kingdom ~ Mark 10:35 (James and John) and Matthew 26:14 (Judas)

Subject to authority, first to His mother and father and finally to the Chief Priest ~ Luke 2:4

Misplaced, at twelve He was left in Jerusalem because His parents assumed His place was with them instead of the Temple ~ Luke 2:48
