My Friend Kitty has an idea for setting up a network of bloggers for mutual encouragement, to learn from each other, to improve our own blog content through trusted feedback and to have fun sharing what we write.
She got the idea from a blog about buildling a blog network, written by Darren Rowse. The rest of this is a compilation of quotes from that blog.

The idea was to get the word out on each other’s sites and learn from one another. I believe a successful blog network is truly collaborative.
Coordination between bloggers in the network has allowed sites to round out their blog’s scope while promoting other bloggers. It’s a win-win situation.
It occurred to us as we chatted that other bloggers who we may know, informally, may find the idea of a sharing their work in a network attractive. This intended as self help activity from which we can all benefit, including improving the standard of the blogs that we present to the rest of our readership.
